This forum is for Web site owners (publishers) who want to display ads for others on their sites. I'm assuming you're seeking advice on how to use advertising to promote your business. If that's true hopefully Bill will move your question to the PPC Forum.

I would recommend that you get some advice on the best ways to ensure that your potential clients find your new site. If you're considering advertising on search engines using pay per click advertising on Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, MSN AdCenter and your business is local in nature you'll want to become familiar with how well each of these geo-target.

For best results I use national and regional ads even for regional businesses; however, that is a little more complex and you don't want to be paying for a lot of visitors who won't be in your geographic area.

There are many free and/or low-cost places you can list your new site. One of my favorites is Yahoo Local. They have a free option and a couple of inexpensive monthly options.

Unless you truly cannot afford advice if you intend to buy traffic you are likely to be money-ahead by consulting with someone with enough experience to make sure your Web site is effective and knows how to create your advertising strategy and campaigns.

Many service businesses can manage their own accounts once they're set up and with a little training.
